Electrical & Electronics is at the core of a wide variety of specialized technologies that have been developing recently like automation, computer & control engineering and forms the foundation blocks in every industry. In modern-day industries with the introduction of numerous consumer electronic products, the majority of the projects involve an E & E engineer for the successful implementation resulting in a pressing need for engineers to support this extremely increasing demand. Electrical & Electronics engineering is concerned with the design & analysis of Electrical & Electronics Circuits, Electronics Systems, Control & Instrumentation, and Communication Devices.
The curriculum covers areas such as mathematics, electrical principles, electronics, computer systems, communication systems, IoT fundamentals, programming. Apart from the technical subjects, students will also be exposed to soft skills such as writing and presentation skills to help enhance their interaction and communication to prepare them for a real-life working environment.
The program is also incorporated with modules that are keeping in trend with the latest technological developments in today’s digital world. Some of these modules are IoT fundamentals, Python programming, Raspberry Pi programming, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence for IIoT.
This Diploma program is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and is accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
